Race Information

Entry Form The entry form and brochure for the 2008 race are here. At this time, on-line registration is not available. Save $5 on 5K registration by registering early. Online Registration will be available soon.

General Information The 2008 5K race will be held October 19 at 9:00AM. The youth mile (for competitors 13 and under) will take place at 10:15. Entry fee for the 5K is $25; $20 if you register by 10/15. Entry fee for the Youth Mile is $10.

Parking Parking is available at the Algonquin Road School. See map for location of the ARS school.

Prizes Trophies will be awarded to the top two finishers in each age group. The top finishing man and woman in the 5K race will get a $100 cash prize.

Goodies T-Shirts will be given to 5K competitors and goody bags to the Youth Milers while supplies last. Refreshments will be available for competitors before and after each race.

Race Results  Each finishing runner will receive a card detailing their individual time, and position in the race. Overall race results for the 2007 race will be listed on this web-site.

Pace Setting Split times will be provided at the 1 and 2 mile markers.

Youth Mile The Youth mile is a race for kids 13 and under. It is contested over an off-road cross-country course approximately 1 mile in length.

Entertainment Music and announcing duties will be provided by WFRG.

Misc Strollers and dogs pose a safety issue and are not permitted in either race.
